WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man wanted for a shooting just outside of Tennille, Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran said.

He said that Travon Hutchinson, 25, was involved in a shooting at the Cornbreads Club on the 700 block of Matthews Road sometime around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Cochran added that two people were shot.

He said one was in surgery at the Augusta Trauma Center sometime Sunday morning. The condition of both people that were shot is currently unknown.

The sheriff said Hutchinson, a Wrightsville native, is currently wanted for three counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during certain felonies.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the shooting. Cochran says the sheriff's office plans to shut the Cornbreads Club down this week. 13WMAZ will update the story as more information is revealed.
