Person shot in South Macon early Wednesday morning, Bibb County Sheriff's Office says

They say it happened at around 8:30 a.m. on Hanson Street.

MACON, Ga. — A person was shot in South Macon on Wednesday morning, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

It happened on Hanson Street, which is off of Houston Avenue.

At around 8:30 a.m., they say a person was shot. They were then taken to the hospital where they are in "stable condition," the sheriff's office said.

The sheriff's office Criminal Investigations Division are currently investigating the shooting.
