GSP investigating after 53-year-old man found dead near downtown Milledgeville

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — A man was killed in Milledgeville Sunday night near downtown, according to Baldwin County Coroner John Gonzalez.

Gonzalez says it happened around 9:35 p.m. 

53-year-old Terry Quinn was found on the 400 block of North Columbia Street near Sportsman Club Road.

He died on the scene from blunt force trauma, according to Gonzalez. 

Quinn was hit in the northbound lane going away from downtown and toward Lake Sinclair. 

Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
