Bibb deputies investigating 2nd shooting at north Macon apartments

The victim says someone fired shots into a car moments after he got into the vehicle Tuesday night.

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is looking for the person who fired shots into a car in north Macon and then drove off.

It happened Tuesday night around 10:30 p.m. at the Vistas Apartments on Arkwright Road, according to a release from the sheriff's office.

The victim told deputies he was sitting on the passenger side of a car when someone started shooting, the release says.

Investigators believe the shooting may have stemmed from a separate shooting that happened on Jan. 29.

No one was hurt, but the driver did get away, the sheriff's office says.
