WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A man was arrested Thursday for allegedly shooting two teens in Warner Robins, according to the Warner Robins Police Department. They say one teen was shot in the leg, and the other was shot in the "jaw and throat area."
Now, 18-year-old Emmanuel Antonio Dawson was arrested on Thursday and charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. He was arrested just after noon.
It stems from a Tuesday evening shooting where two teens were shot in the area around Evergreen Street, Camelia Circle and Charles Circle, the department said in an earlier press release. That is not far from Deloris Toliver Park and North Davis Drive.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a teen shot in the leg, and the teen who was shot in "the jaw and throat area" went to Houston Medical Center in a private vehicle that evening, the department said.
According to Warner Robins Police investigators, there were more than 50 rounds recovered at the scene, and they said that they were of different calibers. That indicates multiple guns may have been used in the shooting.
They say there were more than 70 marks of evidence left behind, too,
As of Wednesday, one teen was in stable condition at Houston Healthcare and the other teen went home on Wednesday.
The investigators told 13WMAZ on Wednesday that they have names of potential suspects, which suggests more arrests may be made in the future.
