WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Two teens were injured in a Tuesday night shooting in Warner Robins, according to a press release from the Warner Robins Police Department.
It happened at around 7:58 p.m. in the area near Deloris Toliver Park or North Davis Drive. The press release said it happened near Camelia Circle, Parkway Drive and Charles Circle.
At the scene, one person was found with a gunshot wound to the leg, and a teen would later show up at the Houston Medical Center with gunshot wounds to his jaw and throat, the press release said. That victim was taken by car to the hospital.
Police spent hours working the scene and placing 79 markers over three streets.
The victim who was shot in the leg is in stable condition, and the teen who was shot in the throat is "under immediate care," the department says.
But the Warner Robins Police Department is looking for a dark-colored sedan that might have been involved in the shooting.
The department says that more information will be released in the future.
