DALLAS — SEC Media Days have come to a close.
Following a four-day media frenzy featuring new coaches, two new SEC teams and plenty of jokes cracked between Nick Saban, Kirby Smart and Saban's protégées on live TV, a vote was held to predict this season's SEC champion, this season's SEC winner and this season's All-SEC team.
Georgia dominated the awards, as the Bulldogs were voted as the 2024 preseason SEC champions.
165 people predicted that Georgia will hoist the SEC championship trophy in December. 27 people voted that Texas would win the championship, while 12 voted that Alabama would win.
Georgia was also predicted as the top team in the SEC. They finished No. 1, while Texas and Alabama finished No. 2 and No. 3.
Ole Miss and LSU rounded out the top five, although Missouri was close behind the Tigers from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Georgia had the most First-Team All-SEC players with six, as the team beat out the Crimson Tide's five and the Longhorns' two. The Bulldogs' first-teamers are quarterback Carson Beck, running back Trevor Etienne, offensive lineman Tate Ratledge, defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse, linebacker/pass rusher Mykel Williams and defensive back Malaki Starks.
The Bulldogs also had five players make the All-American second team. These players are offensive linemen Dylan Fairchild and Xavier Truss, linebacker Smael Mondon Jr. and punter Brett Thorson. Wide receiver Dillon Bell made it as a special team's all purpose player.
There were four Georgia players that made the All-SEC third team. These players are wide receiver Dominic Lovett, tight end Oscar Delp, offensive lineman Earnest Greene and defensive back Daylen Everette.
Nearly all of Georgia's projected starting offense was selected as an All-SEC, while nearly half of the Bulldogs defense and half of their special team's were unit were also selected as All-SEC.
