Georgia football landed 8 different commits in June. See who they are and what they might to bring to Athens in 2025

The group of eight joined nine other previously committed players. The group is highlighted by Central Georgia native Isaiah Gibson

ATHENS, Ga. — UGA football has been heating up on the recruiting trail.

In the month of June, eight different players announced their commitments to play for Georgia football.

The Bulldogs brought in two different five-stars, including Warner Robins edge rusher Isaiah Gibson.

Here’s a list of all seven players that will be joining Gibson in the 2025 class. In addition, a full list of Georgia's current classes will be included.

EDGE Isaiah Gibson - Committed June 24

Going out of order to start, this Houston County native is one of the best commits Central Georgia has ever seen and the highest ranked since former teammate Vic Burly.

The five-star committed to the University of Southern California earlier this year before reopening his recruitment six days before committing to the hometown Bulldogs.

The edge rusher is one UGA’s highest-rated commits. His 6-foot-4, 245-pound frame gives him advantages over opposing offensive linemen, while his speed and athleticism only further that.

While he’ll have a few more techniques to learn at the next level, the current Warner Robins Demon could have a bright future in a different shade of red and black.

LB Zayden Walker - Committed June 5

The consensus five-star is regarded as one of, if not the best linebacker in the 2025 class.

Walker was the first player to commit in June and set the tone for what was to follow

The nearly 6-foot-2, 225-pound Ellaville native flashes excellent athleticism and range, and could play both as a traditional linebacker and a little off the edge.

DL Christian Garrett - Committed June 9

The Bulldogs’ second June commit came right from their backyard.

Garrett, a consensus four-star defensive lineman from Bogart, plays at Prince Avenue Christian, which is less than a half-hour drive from Sanford Stadium.

The 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive lineman played all over the defensive line. From nose tackle to defensive end, Garrett has some versatility and uses his size and strength well.

While there’s some development Garrett will need to compete at the collegiate level, his size and ability should allow him to easily slot in as a traditional defensive tackle.

S Todd Robinson - Committed June 10

While listed as a safety, you’ll likely see Robinson line up primarily on the offensive side of the ball for Valdosta High School this upcoming season.

The high school quarterback was the third commit in June, but will shift to defensive back when he graduates and joins Georgia after the 2024-2025 season.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound four-star athlete showcases strong vision no matter where he is on the field and has the athleticism to play anywhere. Before the decision to play defensive back, Robinson was also viewed as a potential running back.

WR Talyn Taylor - Committed June 11

Taylor, a four-star wide receiver, was the first player outside the state of Georgia to commit in June.

The 6-foot-1, 173-pound Geneva, Illinois native has explosive tendencies, especially as a route runner. He can make show-stopping or acrobatic catches and has no problem using his frame to go up and get the ball. He’s also shown an ability to block well and a willingness to do so at the wide receiver position.

He may be best used in the slot at the collegiate level, but could move outside if he adds more weight to his frame

OL Dontrell Glover - Committed June 24

A former Alabama commit, the Fairburn native elected to stay close to home.

Glover decomitted from the Crimson Tide around the same time fellow Georgia offensive line commit Mason Short did. Now, the two will likely play together for the Bulldogs.

The 6-foot-3, 310-pound offensive lineman is a bit shorter than Georgia’s usual interior offensive line commits — Short is nearly 6-foot-6, despite a projection to play guard. However, Glover has flexibility at both guard and center and could see time at either position.

WR Tyler Williams - Committed June 26

Georgia’s second receiver in the 2025 class also happened to be from out of state.

The 6-foot-1, 205 pound wide receiver from Seffner, Florida has inside and outside versatility and has shown an ability to separate from defensive backs. His athleticism popped as a returner as he scored five different times in return situations.

Interestingly enough, he’s not the first Tyler Williams to commit to UGA. The Bulldogs landed another receiver from Florida named Tyler Williams in 2023, however he transferred to Minnesota in April, leaving a spot for a new Tyler Williams to take his place.

WR Landon Roldan - Committed June 27

The Bulldogs landed their first wide receiver from the state of Georgia in the 2025 class, and he’s also only a short drive away.

Roldan attends North Oconee High School and, like Garrett, lives about half an hour away from Sanford Stadium.

The 6-foot, 180-pound receiver demonstrates tremendous speed and a knack for getting open. Over the offseason, he’s been timed with a sub-4.40 second 40-yard dash, putting up similar numbers to Ladd McConkey.
