MACON, Ga. — Another person was arrested for allegedly helping one of the escaped Bibb County inmates avoid capture, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
32-year-old Tymesha Ceiarra Timley was arrested Friday morning for helping escaped Bibb inmate Marc Kerry Anderson, who was captured at a luxury highrise in Atlanta on Friday.
Timley was arrested in the 1600 block of Wesleyan Drive for hindering the capture of Anderson at around 10 a.m. Friday morning, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said.
Anderson would then be arrested 5 hours later just before 3 p.m at a fancy apartment building in the Atlanta neighborhood of Buckhead.
She was taken to the Bibb County Jail where she was charged with aiding or permitting another to escape lawful custody or confinement as well as hindering the apprehension or punishment of a criminal.
Timley is being held without bond. It is unclear how exactly she helped aid Anderson or if she helped any of the other escaped Bibb inmates.
Who else has been charged with helping Bibb inmates escape:
Timley joins a growing list of inmates at the Bibb County jail who are accused of helping an escaped fugitive. She is the third person arrested for allegedly helping one of the escaped Bibb inmates.
Mykia Williams was the first person to be arrested for helping inmates escape from the Bibb County jail.
On the morning of Oct. 23, Mykia was arrested for "knowingly and willingly" aiding and abetting the four inmates' escape from custody, according to her arrest warrant.
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is not releasing further details about what role Mykia had in the case. But she was denied bail, jail records show.
Then, Jakaylen Billy Ray Williams was arrested and charged the next day on Oct. 24 for allegedly playing a role in the escape.
On top of facing felony charges of aiding or permitting another to escape lawful custody, he also faces theft charges.
According to an arrest warrant, Jakaylen is accused of possessing the Dodge Challenge which had been stolen from the Enterprise Rent-a-Car on Oct. 9. Photos of the vehicle were distributed by the sheriff's office on the day of the escape.
Who is Marc Anderson?
25-year-old Anderson was charged by a grand jury on three counts of aggravated assault.
According to his indictment, Anderson is accused of shooting at a woman in her car, a woman in her residence and a man in their residence. It happened on March 29, 2020.
But on Oct. 16 at around 3:30 a.m., Anderson and three other inmates escaped from the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
Now, 19 days into a nationwide manhunt, Anderson was captured at the Huntley Apartments located at 1,000 Park Drive in Atlanta in Buckhead.
That is a luxury apartment complex where the cheapest rent is just under $2,300 a month, according to the apartment complex's website.
