17-year-old injured after drive by shooting in Warner Robins, police investigating

A press release from the Warner Robins Police Department said it happened around 1 p.m. on Friday.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A 17-year-old was injured after a shooting in Warner Robins on Friday, near the intersection of Green Street and Donald Drive.

A press release from the Warner Robins Police Department said when they got to the intersection around 1 p.m., they found a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to the foot.

The 17-year-old was with a 15-year-old, and the teens said they were stopped at the intersection when their car was shot at several times. 

Both teens ran from the area to call 911.

There is no suspect at this time, and police are still investigating what led up to the shooting.

The 17-year-old was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
