WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Warner Robins is partnering with No Limit Baptist Church to support the homeless community during cold winter nights through their “Food in the Valley Ministry,” according to a press release from the city of Warner Robins.
The goal of this partnership is to provide a safe and warm shelter for when temperatures drop below freezing, ensuring the safety of those in need during the winter months.
"In moments of extreme cold, our faith calls us to act with love and compassion. Through the 'Food in the Valley Ministry,' we strive to ensure every individual has a warm place to escape the harsh elements,” Pastor Vince Harrington with No Limit Church said. “Partnering with the City of Warner Robins allows us to serve our neighbors in a greater capacity, showing that together, we can bring hope and safety to those most vulnerable."
The shelter is located at No Limit Baptist Church on 1352 Radio Loop in Warner Robins. They will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 8 a.m. starting Friday, Nov. 29, and will be open every night until Dec. 3.
Intake for the shelter will only be open for the first hour that the shelter is open.
Brian Wise from the Haven Hope House will be shuttling people to the shelter, starting at 6:00 p.m. each evening. If you are in need of a ride to the shelter, you are encouraged to contact 478-538-5115 or 786-286-4457.
