MACON, Ga. — Democrat vice president nominee Tim Walz will be making a trip to Macon.
On Saturday, his team announced in a release that he'll be traveling to Macon to speak at a political event on Tuesday.
He'll arrive at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport around 10 p.m. on Monday. He will speak around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, but the campaign has not released details of the event, including where the event will be held.
After his visit, he'll travel to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and appear at other events in Atlanta.
Walz will complete his busy Tuesday flying out to Asheville, North Carolina and will speak at a Kamala Harris-Walz campaign rally.
This is Walz's first solo trip across the Peach State since he was named the Democrats' vice president nominee. He recently visited with vice president Harris and traveled across Georgia's southern counties and cities.
