MACON, Ga. — A popular trampoline park is shutting it’s doors immediately and permanently.
Sky Zone in Macon announced it is closing down.
“We hope you had some fun times and created some great memories,” Sky Zone’s Macon location said on its website. “Unfortunately, this park location is currently closed.”
Based on a statement sent to 13WMAZ from Sky Zone, the park is closing due to the building's lease running out and not being renewed.
This is the most recent Sky Zone located in Georgia to close.
Now, the only trampoline park left in Macon is the Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park.
The park, located at Tom Hill Sr Boulevard, offered a cool place for Macon families to take their kids during the summer.
There are now only seven Sky Zone locations in the state of Georgia. The closest one to Macon is located in McDonough.
In May 2023, the company announced a new location would be built in Warner Robins.
In the statement from Sky Zone, the park hopes Macon natives still enjoy the Sky Zone experience at the upcoming Warner Robins location.
“Sky Zone embraces its members and jumpers locally," the statement said. "Though our lease is up in Macon, Sky Zone will welcome our jumpers to a location in the Warner Robins area soon."
