TWIGGS COUNTY, Ga. — A person was hospitalized after a single car accident on Interstate 16 in Twiggs County, Georgia State Patrol said in a release.
The driver, around 3 p.m. on Sunday, was heading west on the Interstate in a Dodge Journey.
They said that the car, as a result of driving too fast for the weather and road conditions, left the road, flipped and hit a tree near the mile marker 24.
GSP added that the driver was transported to Atrium Health for potential serious injuries.
