They say they also found guns, a money-counting machine and Psilocybin mushrooms at his house.

MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — A man was arrested and charged with drug trafficking after a bust on Monday, according to a press release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

It happened after the sheriff's office conducted a search at a Monroe County home.

They say they arrested Larry Akins at a house on Old Dames Ferry Road. Inside the house, they found 50 pounds of marijuana, according to the release.

The release says they also found over 1,200 grams of wax marijuana, Psilocybin mushrooms, THC-infused vape cartilages, guns, scales and a money-counting machine at the house.

The sheriff's office says they also found "a large sum of U.S. Currency" during their search of the home.

Akins has been charged with trafficking marijuana, manufacturing wax marijuana, possession of firearms during the commission of a crime and more, the release says.

He is currently being held in the Monroe County jail without bond.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says the investigation into this case remains on-going.
