A recently opened boutique hotel in Macon is for sale. Here's how much it'll cost you

The hotel, described as a "one-of-a-kind gem," could be yours. Here's for how much — and what comes with it.

MACON, Ga. — If you want to own your own hotel and you have $2 million lying around, look no further: the Woodward Hotel in downtown Macon has hit the market.

Opened back in 2022, the Woodward Hotel at 350 2nd Street boasts nine hotel rooms and its own high-end cocktail lounge, Quill.

Listed at $2.25 million, the building has 4,864 square feet of space and the lot itself is 3,049 square feet.

The listing describes the hotel as a "one-of-a-kind gem with luxe linens, plush mattresses, designer-tiled ensuite bathrooms, custom upholstery and cozy reading chairs."

They're also tossing in five retail suites and eight loft units for another $2 million, but they say that those properties — between 262 and 378 Second Street — are not for sale separately.

The listing does not say why the owner, Wes Griffith of the Moonhanger Group, is putting the hotel on the market. We reached out to the hotel for comment, but we did not immediately hear back.

If you want to see what you'd get for that kind of cash, you can watch the property video produced by the real estate company, Coldwell Banker, below.
