Macon P&Z approves 120-unit apartment complex near Napier Avenue

The board approved the project with no objections but did ask the developers to move a driveway slightly.

MACON, Ga. — There'll be a new 120-unit apartment complex headed to Macon's Napier Avenue soon.

The county planning and zoning board approved the project Monday, proposed at the Park Street and Ayers Road intersection.

They call it Napier Commons.

It'll be owned by New Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.

They plan five- to three-story buildings each with 24 apartments.

There's currently a gymnasium on the property, and the church plans to use it as a community center and clubhouse for residents.

The board approved the plan with no objections but asked the owners to move one of the driveways slightly.
