MACON, Ga. — A Macon man was arrested in connection to robberies in Evans County and Tattnall County, according to a report from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
They say Deonte Miller, 32, has been charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during a felony.
The report says Miller robbed two separate women at gunpoint on Sept. 16 in Claxton, Georgia. They say he robbed one of them in the parking lot of her workplace, and he followed the other one to her home.
On Sept. 17, the Tattnall County Sheriff's Office asked the GBI to look into another home robbery, per the report. On Sept. 18, the Evans County Sheriff's Office asked the GBI to look into a robbery at a poultry farm.
They say the GBI identified Miller as a suspect in the robberies, and he has been booked into the Tattnall County jail.
