MACON, Ga. — Georgia voters are heading to the polls on Tuesday for the 2022 midterm election with key races on the ballot including state governor and a U.S. Senate seat.
13WMAZ will be bringing you updates from around Central Georgia and news from all over the state throughout the day. We have reporters heading out to be with the key candidates on election night.

11:30 p.m. | Stacey Abrams concedes race to Gov. Brian Kemp in speech to her supporters. Gov. Kemp took the stage around the same time to claim victory in front of his supporters. Sanford Bishop also claimed victory over Chris West in U.S. House District 2.
10:51 p.m. | Senator Raphael Warnock will be down shortly. They remain optimistic with the remaining votes, according to the latest from Marvin James and Molly Jett. They will provide additional updates during our 11 p.m. newscast.

3:17 p.m. | Here is a look at the watch party for Senator Raphael Warnock. We will also have crews at the other major campaign parties including Governor Brian Kemp, Herschel Walker and Stacey Abrams.
1:49 p.m. | 13WMAZ's Marvin James will be out with Molly Jett tonight for election night coverage instead of his usual gig handling sports. The pair will provide updates from Senator Raphael Warnock's campaign.
12:25 p.m. | A pair of voting precincts will be extending their hours after delays in opening. One will remain open until 7:45 p.m. and the other will accept votes until 7:06 p.m.
11:48 a.m. | The latest update from the Secretary of State's Office has a wait time of 3 minutes statewide. The longest lines are in Stephens County at 13 minutes, Long County at 11 minutes, and Wilkinson County at 8 minutes, according to Gabriel Sterling.
10:55 a.m. | 13WMAZ's Molly Jett spoke with Senator Raphael Warnock this morning as he faces off against Herschel Walker. Jett will be live in Atlanta tonight at the Warnock campaign. Anthony Montalto will be covering Walker's campaign as part of our live coverage which will stream on 13WMAZ+ and our website starting at 7 p.m.
10:14 a.m. | Governor Brian Kemp and his family cast their votes this morning. Kemp shared a pair of photos on his Twitter, one from his first trip to vote with his family four years ago and one from today.
9:41 a.m. | Wait times continue to fall, according to Gabriel Sterling with the Secretary of State's Office. There is now a 2-minute average wait time statewide now. Sterling praised poll workers in his tweet for doing a great job in getting people in quickly to vote.
9:11 a.m. | Gabriel Sterling with the Secretary of State's Office tweeted that the average wait time statewide has dropped to 3 minutes. The average check-in time is still 48 seconds.
7:00 a.m. | Polls are open in Georgia.
