Students from Macon premiere short film at church in Warner Robins

The premiere, which happened at Fellowship Bible Baptist Church, was for the film "No Pressure," which was pitched at a local short film production in June 2023

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Three students short film had its premiere on Saturday.

At the Fellowship Bible Baptist Church in Warner Robins, a student-short film called "No Pressure," will make its debut.

The film is written by Julia Pender, which is their first short film of their career. Rutland High School student Juan Sanchez and Ta'Mar Tuft and Samantha Fogarty from Central High School took part in the production of it.

The three students are a part of W.S Hutchings College and Career Academy Audio Video & Film Pathway. They pitched the film back in June 2023.

A red carpet event for the premiere was held at 2 p.m. and allowed the audience to interact with the cast before the film started.

The event also had professional mental health counselor Heather Prunty to speak to the crew and audience about mental health and suicide, which was a key point and theme throughout the film.

100 people attended the screening and had positive reviews.
