Bibb Sheriff's Office looking for man and SUV possibly linked to north Macon shooting

The sheriff's office is looking for a silver SUV and a person seen in the north Macon subdivision where 50-year-old Brian Brown was found dead.

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office has released photos of a Silver SUV and a person who they think may be linked to the Sunday shooting death of 50-year-old Brian Mathew Brown in north Macon.

It happened on Sunday just after 1:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Lokchapee Landing, a north Macon subdivision off of Forrest Hill Road.

Brown had walked outside and, shortly after, gunshots rang out. He was found with a single gunshot wound, and Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are looking for this car that they say was seen leaving the area after Brian Mathew Brown was shot in a north Macon parking lot.

They say the car is silver and possibly has an out-of-state tag.

But they also are releasing photos of a person of interest in hopes that someone will be able to identify them, too. They say the person was seen walking through the parking lots Brown was shot in.
