MACON, Ga. — Update:
Georgia Department of Transportation's 511 websites appear to show traffic cleared up as of 10:30 p.m. after the multi-vehicle crash on I-75 South near Pierce Avenue around 1:30 p.m..

A multi-vehicle crash on I-75 south near the Pierce Avenue exit has killed one person and sent four others to the hospital in a fiery crash, Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones tells 13WMAZ.
At around 5 p.m., the Bibb County Sheriff's Office identified the driver of a Nissan Titan, whose car caught on fire during the crash. They say 66-year-old Jeffrey Louis Davis of Lyons, Ga. was killed during the crash.
Jones tells the sheriff's office that the next of kin has been notified.
The crash was called into the Macon-Bibb E-911 center at around 1:43 p.m., the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said in the press release.
The crash included five vehicles, including a box truck, three pickup trucks and a sports utility vehicle, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said.
According to Jones, the wife of the Nissan Titan driver is among the four people transported to the hospital because of the crash.
According to GDOT's 511 webpage, I-75 and Riverside Drive is backed because of the crash.
