Update: Warner Robins 'suspicious death' case now homicide, husband of victim arrested in connection with her death

In a release, Captain Wayne Fisher said the husband of the woman found with a head injury is in police custody.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Update, 5:07 p.m. November 25:

The 'suspicious death' case being investigated by the Warner Robins Police Department has now been deemed a homicide.

In a release, Captain Wayne Fisher said the husband of the victim, 63-year-old Lucille Ann McManus, is in police custody.

He has been formally charged with Malice Murder, and has been identified as 55-year-old Brian McManus.

The case is still under investigation.

The Warner Robins Police Department is investigating a 'suspicious death' that happened on Friday.

In a release, they said it happened around 9:10 a.m. at 202 Wake Forest Drive.

They said they were called out to the scene for reports of a possible suicide, and when they arrived they found a woman with an apparent head injury.

No cause of death has been determined yet. The case is still being investigated.

An autopsy will be conducted at the GBI Crime Lab in Macon on Tuesday.
