MACON, Ga. — A Macon man was arrested Tuesday and charged with a shooting at a north Macon apartment complex last month.
According to a news release, Houston County deputies stopped a vehicle that 22-year-old Jaire Mack was driving in around 6:20 a.m.
Mack had a warrant out for his arrest from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office for a Jan. 29 shooting at the Vista Apartments on Arkwright Road.
Bibb deputies came to get Mack, and they took him to the Bibb County jail.
He’s charged with aggravated assault and is being held on a $27,700 bond.

The Jan. 29 shooting that Mack is charged with injured 19-year-old Timothy Green.
In that shooting, Green was allegedly shot in the right shoulder and ear after a fight.
Then, another shooting at the same apartment complex happened on Feb. 4.
Green was arrested and charged with the second shooting the next day by Jones County deputies at his home in Gray.
