MACON, Ga. — North Macon will have a new restaurant for wings and drinks before the end of the month!
Taco Mac on Bowman Road has announced their first day in business will be on Nov. 30.
The restaurant chain says it will have more than 80 beers on tap with a 165-inch LED video wall, along with 40 TVs.
“This new location will be a home away from home for guests wanting to enjoy a great meal made with quality ingredients and drinks with friends,” Taco Mac Director of Marketing Kelsey Layer said.
Taco Mac says it is also looking to partner with local sports teams and first responders.
Crews have been working on the final touches of the building and a spokesperson for the company says they've already filled many positions. However, the are still in need of more staff members. To apply, visit tacomac.com/career.
The new Taco Mac location will be located off of Bass Road near I-75. In a press release, the company says they hope the location becomes "a home away from home" for customers to enjoy a meal, a game and/or a beer.
Despite having taco in the name, Taco Mac actually specializes in your typical bar-and-grill food, with a particular emphasis on buffalo wings. They have 17 different sauces and rubs for customers to try. You can check out their menu here.
The company says their new Macon location will offer "a unique indoor/outdoor experience," pointing to their 14-foot garage doors that allow dinners sitting inside to get a little breath of fresh air.
The chain has 27 locations across Georgia and Tennessee.
