MACON, Ga. — Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and if cooking for the big day seems overwhelming, these Macon restaurants have you covered.
They have special holiday menus where folks can order side dishes, entrees, and desserts to take home for the holiday.
The Hen's Nest has specials like roasted turkey and Cornish hens, along with side dishes and pies.
You can get main course meals for $70, and side course meals (half a pan) for $50. The pies are pecan and sweet potato and are $20 each.
But be quick! You have to put your orders in by Nov. 5 to get your food on time.
There is a non-refundable deposit of $25 for orders.
The kitchen is offering lots of vegetable casseroles and sides, along with delicious gravy.
They also have a bakery menu with whole pies, cakes, brownies, cheese straws, rolls, and more.
The last day to place an order for Thanksgiving is Nov. 15. Pickup for orders will be Nov. 20, 21 or 22.
In their post to Facebook, they say their food line will be open for regular hours Nov. 20 and 21, and they will be open Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. for order pick up only, no food line that day.
They say that pre-order spots may fill up, so the cutoff for placing an order could be moved up based on demand.
The kitchen will be closed Nov. 23-26 for Thanksgiving, and they'll reopen for normal business on Nov. 27.

If you want something sweet, De'Lani delights has cakes, pies, dessert pans, cheesecakes, and more.
If you buy two or more cakes, you even get $5 off each cake.
The last day to place orders is Nov. 18. Deposits are required to reserve your order.

The Caribbean restaurant is offering dinners with turkey, ham, and chicken options, along with sides and cakes for dessert.
The last day to place an order is Nov. 19th. Pickup is on Nov. 22 from 11-12 p.m.

Grow has several options from appetizers to turkey dinners to casseroles and sides. they also have cobblers and pies for dessert.
In their post, they listed a few things you need to know before ordering:
"1. Order early. We might sell out. Email only. No orders here.
2. Choose your pick up day (Tues or Wed)
3. You'll receive cooking instructions, and they are very simple!"

Loom is hosting a Thanksgiving dining event if you want to go out to eat. It includes turkey and dressing, sides, and other fall specials.
They will have Turkey & Dressing with Asparagus Casserole for $32, and Roasted Quail with Wild Mushroom Forbidden Black Rice Stuffing & Hericot Verts for $40.
