MACON, Ga. — Some of the top senior pickleball players across the country faced off on Saturday.
Rhythm and Rally in Macon is hosting the U.S. Senior Pickleball National Championships from July 12 through July 14.
Saturday was the second day of the tournament.
Over 450 players competed against each other for a chance at the tournament title on Sunday.
At least 15 different states were represented at the tournament. While many came from the southeast, others traveled a decent distance.
Everyone participating loved the facility. The senior pickleball community struggles to find climate controlled places to play, so after hearing about Rhythm and Rally, they immediately made a reservation.
Each tournament day fully booked up the facility all day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
