Strong storms bring flooding, damage to Central Georgia

Heavy rains caused widespread flooding across the region

Strong storms went through Central Georgia throughout Thursday causing flooding.

The flooding closed several roads, while wind brought down traffic signals at the intersection of Clinton and Gray Highway, and brought a tree crashing through the Peek-A-Boo Learning Center on Rocky Creek Road.

Flooding also seems to be a problem in some parts of Putnam County, and some people in the area are had trouble getting home from work and are seeing flooding in their yards.

Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills says there are a few other roads experiencing flooding across town, he but says there have been no major injuries or accidents due to Friday's storms.

Here are all of the pictures/videos we received, or took, of damage around the region
