MACON, Ga. — For the Tattnall Trojans, Tuesday was a bittersweet day.
The Trojans softball team won the GIAA Class AAAA championship less than a month ago. Now, all four of the seniors from that team have signed to play college softball.
On Tuesday, Tattnall held a signing celebration, to recognize the players who gave so much to their school and to celebrate them as they take the next step on their journeys.
Annamary Talcott
Annamary Talcott is third in career home runs for any Tattnall Academy softball player, having hit 25 homers during her time there. 11 of those home runs came in a single season - which puts her at 2nd in the Tattnall record books for single-season home runs.
She's signed on to play her college softball at Gordon State.
Molly Kemp
Molly Kemp, a four-year starter at Tattnall, is going to Georgia Gwinnett for her college experience.
During her tenure at Tattnall, she placed 8th in program history for batting average with a mark of .391, and she's third on the list for career triples.
Gradie Appling
Gradie Appling signed to play college softball at Louisiana State University, a place she's been dreaming about since she was a kid.
She's got the resume to achieve those dreams. A four-year starter at Tattnall, she also made the all-region team in each of those years. She was a top-10 prospect in the 2025 softball recruiting class, and now she'll take her talents to Baton Rouge.
Brianna Logue
Brianna Logue is another graduate from this class who spent all four of her high school years on the Tattnall softball team. In that time, she recorded the fourth-highest batting average in program history - a tidy .436 mark - and she placed second in career triples.
Now, she's heading to Piedmont University to play college softball.
