MACON, Ga. — For high school athletes across Central Georgia, today is the day they make their dreams a reality.
All the hard work they've put into their craft. The blood, sweat and tears they shed getting themselves to this moment. The moment where they sign with a college and realize their dreams of being a collegiate athlete.
On Wednesday, athletes around Central Georgia will sign their name on a contract, also known as an National Letter of Intent, signifying their commitment to that specific school.
Wednesday is the first day of early signing period, and while many will commit that day, many more will sign through the period. Dec. 20 is the first early signing day for football.
Throughout the day, we at 13WMAZ will update this story with a running total of each signee, what school they went to and what school they'll be attending to play which sport.
