MACON, Ga. — On Election Night - Nov. 5 - 13WMAZ will be following dozens of local, state and federal races. To help readers follow the results as they come in, 13WMAZ is introducing a new Election Tracker.
It will give viewers a county-by-county look at the results as they pour in across the state. 13WMAZ will use it to track the presidential race, and congressional and state house seats. The program also allows readers to view how people voted for the three state amendment questions at the bottom of the ballot.
Lets go through how to use the Election Tracker using 2020 data.
On Nov. 5, when the polls first close the map will look white. As results pour in, the counties will start to fill in with color. There will be shades of red and blue to show which counties leaned Democrat or Republican in final vote results.
To look at the county results, press on the county. That county will light up on the map, and you can view results.
If you want a closer look at results in Central Georgia, you can do that to.
