Driver killed in Houston County after striking tree, sheriff's office says

They say she was driving on Dunbar Road near General Lee Road.

HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. — A Peach County woman is dead after their car struck a tree in Houston County, the sheriff's office says.

They say it happened Monday on Dunbar Road near General Lee Road. 

Chloe Elizabeth Marie Huval, 32, was driving a 2017 Kia Sportage west on Dunbar Road just before 5 p.m. when her vehicle left the roadway, the press release said. That's when they say she hit a tree.

Huval was taken to Atrium Health Navicent Peach County where she would die from her injuries. 

The Houston County Sheriff's Office says that the crash is currently under investigation. If you have any information, you are asked to call the Houston County Sheriff's Office Traffic Division at 478-542-2080.
