They say it happened on Watson Boulevard at around 12:25 a.m.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A man was arrested for beating a woman in a Warner Robins parking lot, according to a press release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

They say it happened on Friday at around 12:25 a.m. in the Williams Plaza Shopping Center parking lot. That's located at 1861 Watson Boulevard.

Christopher Davis, 40, was arrested for beating a 65-year-old woman with his hands, feet and "an unknown object" in the shopping center's parking lot, the press release said.

When authorities discovered her at 7:55 a.m., they found the woman suffering severe injuries to her upper torso, face and head and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the department said.

After the investigation, Davis was arrested and charged with the assault.

The press release from the police department does not say why Davis was attacking the victim or if they had any connection to each other.

They say the investigation is ongoing. If you have any information, you are asked to call Detective Karmen Thompson with the police department's criminal investigative division at 478-302-5380.

They also say you can also call the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
