Two hospitalized after wreck in Jones County

It happened at the intersection of Joycliff Road and Gray Highway.

JONES COUNTY, Ga. — Two people were taken to the hospital after a wreck in Jones County on Saturday, according to the Jones County Sheriff's Office. 

They say it happened just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Joycliff Road and Gray Highway. 

The crash involved a motorcycle and a Blue Toyota.

Chris Shurley with the Sheriff's Office says the Toyota was traveling South and the motorcycle was traveling North.

The Toyota was attempting a turn into the nearby gas station when it crashed into the motorcycle. 

Shurley says the motorcycle's two occupants were both taken to the hospital.

He did not know their status at this time.
