HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. — Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a crash that ended with one vehicle on top of another in Houston County Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened at the intersection of Houston Lake Road and Highway 49.
Capt. Ronnie Harlowe with the Houston County Sheriff's Office says the accident involved a total of four vehicles, and one of them was a dump truck.
Georgia State Patrol handled the accident, which involved a fuel spill, and Trooper Morton says three people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The case of the crash is still under investigation. The names of those involved, as well as the make and model of cars, were not released.
