Here's how you can ring in the new year in Central Georgia

There's no shortage of things to do around Central Georgia when it comes to ringing in the new year

MACON, Ga. — From Milledgeville down to Dublin, 13WMAZ has assembled a list of the all the New Year's Eve festivities around Central Georgia.

BONAIRE

Roaring 20s New Year’s Eve Party: PUB 96 is ringing in 2020 with Swain & the Highway Souls. There will be food, party favors, and door prizes starting at 9 p.m. Cover is $10.

DUBLIN

Shamrock Drop 2020: Ring in the new year with a series of events in downtown Dublin. Events start at 6 p.m. with The Goonies Family Experience at Martin Movie House, then the Great Gatsby Roaring 20's Experience at Martin Movie House at 8:30 p.m. Also at 8:30 p.m., music begins in Bicentennial Plaza until midnight when a lighted shamrock will descend from the historic Fred Roberts building.

FORSYTH

Forsythia Ball Drop: Forsyth Fire Department will be dropping the ball with your help. The event starts at 9 p.m. Bring your chairs, blankets, and dancing shoes (no pets please).

FORT VALLEY

Cobbler Drop: The New Year's Eve Peach Cobbler Drop will be in downtown Fort Valley starting at 8 p.m. There will be carriage rides, train rides, photo ops and live music.

MACON

Crazy Bull New Year’s Eve Blowout: Enter the New Year with a blowout at Crazy Bull from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. A2Z band will be on the main stage while Gannon Adams will be in their outdoor heated tent. 18 to enter, 21 to drink.

A Great Gatsby New Year’s Eve: Late Nite says the theme is art deco and they want to see your finest flapper dresses, suits, and tuxedos. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Kids New Year’s Eve Dance Party: The Society Garden is hosting a New Year’s Eve dance party for the kids from 5-8 p.m. Admission is $5 per kid.

Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil: The Society Garden will transform into a discotheque with a live DJ on the main stage. The ball drop will be showing on a large outdoor tv and there will be a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. The event runs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. There is a $10 cover.

New Year’s Eve Formal Masked Ball: The Hay House is having a black-tie affair from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Celebrate in high style with an evening of cocktails and dancing to the music of the Top Hats. Champagne and a midnight breakfast ends the evening. Tickets are $125 per person.

NYE Silent Disco: Reboot Retrocade is ringing in the new year with a silent disco starting at 9 p.m. There will be $1 champagne from 11 p.m. to midnight. Entry is free for those 21+ and headset rental costs $10.

NYE 2020: The Hummingbird will close out 2019 with a show by the Dirty Sound Professors. Get ready to pop bottles at midnight as the balloons drop.

New Year’s Eve 2020: The Thirsty Turtle will be open from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. for a New Year’s Eve party with drink specials, $14 bottles of champagne, and a balloon drop.

Roaring 20s New Year’s Eve: Macon’s Dueling Piano Bar opens at 7 p.m. for a New Year’s Eve party. If you pay in advance with a reservation, admission is $20. It’s $25 at the door and there is a champagne toast at midnight.

Roaring 20s New Year’s Eve Party: Come to Just Tap’d in downtown Macon in your best Great Gatsby inspired attire. They’ll be showing the ball drop on TV and staying open late to ring in the new year with a balloon drop at midnight.

Z93.7 Noon Year’s Eve: Join the folks from Z93.7 from 10 a.m. to noon at Pin Strikes in Macon.

MILLEDGEVILLE

New Year’s Eve Party: Buffingtons is bringing you in 2020 with The Doods. The party starts at 10:30 p.m. and there will be a champagne toast at midnight.

PERRY

Buzzard Drop: Ring in 2020 at the Buzzard Drop in downtown Perry. The night starts at 7 p.m. with food and drinks by Bodega Brew, The Swanson, Just Tap’d, Chile Street Eats, Booger Bear’s Grill, and beats by DJ Mixmaster T. A kiddie countdown kicks off at 8 p.m. and then the band Relapse takes the stage at 9 p.m. No personal heaters or outside coolers are allowed. A complimentary take-home shuttle will begin service will begin at 10 p.m. serving homes and destinations within the Perry city limits from downtown.

WARNER ROBINS

Noon Year’s Eve Celebration: Monkey Joe’s will hold a Noon Year’s Eve Celebration with a balloon drop at noon and bubble wrap fireworks for all the kids who can’t make it to midnight.

New Year’s Eve Family Celebration: Rigby’s Entertainment Complex will have a free Noon Year’s Eve Kids Balloon Drop, $5 family bowl, and boogie with a DJ from 3-5 p.m. Unlimited activities will cost $24.95. The family events run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

New Year’s Eve Bash: Rigby’s Entertainment Complex will be holding an adults-only soiree on the patio from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. The party is also inside from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. There will be a free midnight champagne toast and good luck buffet for a limited number of people

New Year’s Eve Night of Fellowship: Olympia Skate Center in Warner Robins with Christian and gospel music night from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. There will be a balloon drop at midnight. $10 admission includes roller skates.
