Three arrested after body found hidden in car on Christmas Eve

Deputies say one person shot and killed a man on Fort Hill Street and two others hid the body after he died.

MACON, Ga. — Late Sunday night Bibb County sheriff's deputies arrested three people connected to a death in the 1300 block of Fort Hill Street.

Deputies arrested 46-year-old Ladonta Lamont Solomon, 70-year-old Charles Edward Solomon and 25-year-old Tyric Deonte Solomon just after 10 p.m. Sunday night.

Deputies say Ladonta Solomon shot 52-year-old Artice Pettigrew Sunday and Charles Solomon and Tyric Solomon were charged with concealing the death of another.

All three are held at the Bibb County Jail without bond.

The shooting is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff's Office at (478) 751-7500 or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
