Several Macon based organizations team up for fall giveaway

The groups gave away free clothes, household items, small appliances and more

MACON, Ga. — The Community Church of God teamed up with the Macon-Bibb and Department of Public Health and Macon Violence Prevention for a fall giveaway.

They gave away free clothes, household items, small appliances, Health Department info and free phones. Representatives from the Public Health Department, United Way and the Mentor’s Project were all available.

The items were available while supplies last.

Over 450 people attended the event, which takes place every other month. The giveaway started at 10 a.m.
