From barbecue to Krispy Kreme bread pudding, here is a look at two new Central Georgia restaurants

Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux is set to open soon and Sonny's BBQ opened its doors yesterday.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Two new eateries are here in Central Georgia, and are set to provide folks with delicious food and a great atmosphere.

Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux  is set to open on Nov. 21 and Sonny's BBQ opened this past Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Sonny's BBQ

Sonny's BBQ already has a well-known location in Warner Robins, but has just opened a new location in Macon.

They are known for their barbecue, as well as ribs, brisket, and wings. Several appetizers are also popular, along with desserts - specifically the banana pudding.

The franchise began in Florida and has slowly made its way across the southeast, with several locations in Georgia.

The one in Macon is the franchise's 12th location in Georgia.

The eatery is located at 5811 Zebulon Road in Macon and is open Sun - Thurs from 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., and Fri - Sat from 11:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.

 Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux

This Louisiana-inspired sports bar will be holding its grand opening next Monday in Warner Robins.

Co-Owned by sports legend Drew Brees, Walk-On's has become famous across the country for its out-of-the-box takes on classic chain food dishes.

They feature things like boom boom cajun shrimp tacos, surf and turf burgers, Krispy Kreme donut bread pudding, and much more.

The new location is at 1070 Highway 96 in Warner Robins.

This will be the first Walk-On's located in Georgia.

In a press release, it says that the restaurant will be just steps away from Rigby's and will feature a ribbon cutting by the Walk-On's team.

“We are excited to join the Warner Robins community with the first Walk-On’s location in Georgia,” said Steve Rigby, franchisee and owner of Rigby’s Water World and Rigby’s Entertainment Complex. “It’s the perfect spot for friends and family to get together and cheer on their favorite Georgia teams with great scratch-made Americana and Louisiana-inspired cuisine and a fun, game-day atmosphere. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone at our grand opening on Monday.”

The location also announced that the first 100 people in line will have a chance to win free Walk-On's for a year.

The winner will be selected at random and will be announced on opening day.

Walk-On's will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

For more information, you can view the event listing for the opening on their Facebook page.
