FORSYTH, Ga. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged a man in Forsyth for cocaine possession, according to a press release.
61-year-old Ellis Zellner was arrested in Monroe County on Friday following a search at Union Hill Apartments.
Based on photos sent from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, over 22 grams of cocaine was taken by deputies. The photo also shows a gun and other drugs, including marijuana and hydrocodone, that were found at the scene by the sheriff’s office.
Zellner was given eight different charges: possession with intent to distribute crack-cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of hydrocodone, possession with intent to distribute drugs in a public housing authority, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during a commission of a crime and possession of drug related objects.
He’s currently being held at the Monroe County jail without bond.
