Teens break into towing company lot, burglarizes 24 cars, Perry Police say

They say it happened earlier this month at Road Runner Towing.

PERRY, Ga. — Two teens were arrested after police say they broke into 24 cars at a towing company in Perry, according to a press release from the Perry Police Department.

They say the an employee of Road Runner Towing at 300 Hampton Court noticed the two teens — one 15 and another 13 years old — breaking into vehicles at their lot at around 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 7.

Officers responded to the business and took the teens into custody not far from the scene, the press release said.

Both teens are charged with 24 counts of burglary in the 2nd degree along with other charges related to the break-in.

The Perry Police department asks the public to call their office if they any information. You can call the detective handling the case at 478-988-2800.

Because the suspects are minors the Perry Police Department is not releasing their names.
