One dead after ATV crash in Macon County

It happened along GA 127 near Garden Valley Road in Macon County.

MACON COUNTY, Ga. — A person is dead after an ATV accident on Sunday in Macon County, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP).

They say around 9:32 p.m. troopers from Post 15 Perry were sent to a crash on GA 127 near Garden Valley Road in Macon County. 

The driver lost control of an ATV as they were driving east on GA 127 and ejected.

GSP says the ATV began overturning and landed on top of the driver.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
