The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding the owner of animals they said were held in "horrible, unlivable conditions," the sheriff's office said in a media release.
The sheriff's office is looking for Robert Woods and Sabrina Parks, who have had warrants issued for their arrest but have not yet been captured yet, the release said.
Deputies say the sheriff's office responded to a home on Bar None Road on after receiving complaints of animal cruelty. There, they found a dog that "appeared as if it had not eaten in several weeks," a dead dog in a kennel behind the home, and a pet snake that appeared to have been eaten by another animal, the sheriff's office said.
They also found two small dogs and a cat who they described as "heavily emaciated with matted fur, large amounts of fecal matter stuck in their unkempt hair and smelling of urine," the release said.
They also said feces and urine were covering a large portion of the floor.
If you know where Woods and Parks are, the sheriff's office said you can contact the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit at 478-994-7593 or 478-994-7048. You may also contact them through Facebook, Instagram or the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office App, where you may remain anonymous.
