MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — Folks over in Monroe County are getting into the spooky spirit with several fun costumes at trunk or treat.
Aliens, dinosaurs, princesses, witches, superheroes, and more took over the Monroe County Sheriff's Office in their Halloween attire.
Folks could see kiddos trick-or-treating from trunk to trunk with cars decorated up in some creepy décor from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today.
You could even see Monroe County Deputies handing out candy!
The Sheriff's Office says this is a fun but safe way for your kids to celebrate Halloween.
Ross Cargle, who attended the event with his family, said that the event was a fun way to get out again.
"Just getting out, spending time with our family and friends, and just basically being our normal self again," he said.
The Monroe County Sheriff's trunk-or-treat event is annual, and this year more than 200 visitors showed up.
