MACON, Bibb County — The Middle Georgia Regional Library will open its newest branch Wednesday, July 17. The new location is the sixth addition of Macon Bibb County libraries.
The library annex is located in the one stop shop for county services, in Eisenhower Parkway Macon Mall, facing Mercer University Drive.
According to Middle Georgia Regional Library, the add-on of a new branch will move a few administrative offices to organize operations at the downtown Washington Memorial Library, also offering more convenient library services in West Bibb County.
The new library annex will also offer notary services, 3D printing, programming and technology available for public check-out.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a tour of the facility.
The library's normal operating hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
