Man shot and killed at Grey Parc apartments in east Macon, Bibb County Sheriff's Office says

31-year-old Demarious Brown answered the door Saturday morning and got into an argument before he was shot, according to his girlfriend

MACON, Ga. — A man was shot and killed Saturday morning at the Grey Parc apartments in east Macon, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office press release.

31-year-old Demarious Brown died shortly after he answered the door to his apartment around 10 a.m.

Brown's girlfriend said he argued with the person at the door. She then heard a gunshot and took cover. 

She said that she could not recognize the voice.

Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced him dead at the scene at 10:30 a.m. Next of kin has been notified.
