Man arrested in October 2022 murder in east Macon, Bibb County Sheriff's Office says

They say that 22-year-old Raquan Parker was arrested on Murder charges in the death of Dakari Faulker. He is also charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

MACON, Ga. — A man has been arrested in connection to an October 2022 murder on Willis Drive in east Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office. 

In a press release, the sheriff's office says deputies arrested 22-year-old Raquan Jeremiah Parker on Murder and two counts of aggravated assault charges. He is accused of killing 23-year-old Dakari Faulker on 2500 block of Willis Drive. That is just off of Shurling Drive.

The shooting happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 29, 2022. When deputies arrived,  they found Faulkner with a singular gunshot wound. He was taken to Atrium Navicent where he was pronounced dead.

Parker is being held at the Bibb County Jail without bond.
