MACON, Ga. — A Macon man is dead after getting hurt in a physical fight six days earlier, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.
They say it happened on Sept. 6 at around 11:38 p.m. in the 2400 block of Monroe Avenue. That's near Ballard Hudson and Pio Nono Avenue.
They say Dennis Lundy, 63, was "down" after being involved in a physical fight.
Paramedics treated him at the scene, but he was then taken to Atrium Health Navicent for treatment where he was admitted in critical but stable conditions.
On Thursday afternoon, Lundy was pronounced dead, the sheriff's office said.
They say the circumstances around Lundy's death are still under investigation.
