MACON, Ga. — A man is dead and another person is hurt after an early morning three-car accident at the intersection of Pio Nono Avenue and Eisenhower Parkway.
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says around 12:05 a.m. Sunday, someone called the accident into their 911 center. They say someone was driving a white Honda Civic going south on Pio Nono Avenue. At the same time, a black Chevrolet Equinox was heading east on Eisenhower Parkway, and a blue Honda Accord was traveling west.
That's when the sheriff's office says the man driving the white Honda hit the other two cars.
The sheriff's office says paramedics cleared the black Chevrolet Equinox's driver at the scene, but the other two drivers went to the hospital. The blue Honda's driver is listed as stable.
Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones confirmed Sunday morning Demarco Marquis Beasley, 35, died at the hospital.
The sheriff's office says their investigators are still looking into what happened. If you have any information, they ask you to call their office at (478) 751-7500.
