MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help finding a missing 79-year-old man who was reported missing one week ago, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.

They say Carl Isiah Ford, 79, was last seen leaving a home in the 4000 block of Dorothy Avenue in east Macon.

According to his family, Ford — who is 5'11 and roughly 165 pounds — has dementia and they believe he may have wandered off. He also requires medications and they don't believe he had taken it, the press release said.

They say Ford was last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray slides.

If you have any information about Ford's whereabouts, you can call the Bibb County Sheriff's Office at 478-751-7500 or the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
